About The Job: We are on the lookout for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who will play a vital role in our growing team, specifically in support of government and military contracts.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to design, implement, and maintain machine learning models to meet various project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of AI systems, with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to invent solutions for complex challenges.

Responsibilities:
Machine Learning Model Development - Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to address various business needs.

Data Manipulation - Utilize Python programming skills to manipulate and draw insights from large data sets, using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

Optimization of ML Models - Continuously evaluate, improve, and optimize ML models to ensure scale and speed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with other data scientists and engineers to understand and implement complex applications of machine learning.

Quality Assurance - Implement rigorous testing for data and models to maintain high data quality and model performance.

Innovation - Find innovative solutions to complex problems, keeping up with the latest trends in the field of machine learning.

Technical Support - Provide troubleshooting and technical support related to machine learning models and applications as needed.

About You: As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the successful application of machine learning technologies across our operations. Your in-depth knowledge of the field, combined with your innovative problem-solving skills, will be critical in driving our machine learning efforts. Proficiency in Python programming language.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries like scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy.

Solid understanding and practical knowledge of Machine Learning principles and techniques.
Ability to think on your feet and solve complex problems.

Detail-oriented mindset, with a strong interest in continuous improvement and learning.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
An MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or any related Engineering field.

Previous experience in a machine learning role, with demonstrable understanding of Natural Language Processing techniques.

Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries.

Two or more years of experience working with the government or similar is desirable.

Active, previous security clearance, or at least the ability to get clearance (pass background checks and whatnot) would be ideal.

Experience with cloud services (like AWS or Google Cloud) is a plus.
