Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About the team:

Strategic Security Services (S3) protects Anduril's people, operations, and mission through four integrated pillars: the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) for 24/7 monitoring and incident response; Travel Security for global traveler tracking, pre-travel briefings, and in-region support; Threat Intelligence for proactive identification and analysis of physical threats; and Protective Intelligence for executive and brand protection. We are a fast-moving, build-oriented division within Corporate Security, scaling our capabilities to keep pace with Anduril's growth in the defense technology sector.

About the Job:

As the Senior Program Manager, Strategic Security Services, you are the execution engine and designated second-in-command for the S3 division. You partner directly with our four pillar leads (GSOC, Travel Security, Threat Intelligence, and Protective Intelligence) to drive their initiatives from plan to delivered outcome, and you own the development and writing of the division's products. The Deputy Director focuses upward on enterprise strategy and executive engagement; you focus downward and across, keeping the division's programs moving and raising the quality bar on everything we produce. When the Deputy Director is unavailable, you step in to run S3 at the director level. This is a high-trust, individual-contributor role for an operator who moves fluidly between hands-on delivery and the executive room, and who can carry and protect the S3 narrative in front of senior leadership. You will report to the Deputy Director of Strategic Security Services within our Corporate Security organization, based in Costa Mesa, CA.

What You’ll Do:

Program Execution & Delivery

  • Partner with the GSOC, Travel Security, Threat Intelligence, and Protective Intelligence leads to move their priority initiatives from concept to completion, clearing blockers and holding the line on timelines, scope, and quality.
  • Run point on cross-pillar programs that span more than one team, creating shared truth and a single source of status across S3.
  • Translate the Deputy Director's strategic direction into concrete plans, milestones, and owners, then drive them to done.
  • Step in to provide hands-on coverage when a pillar lead is out or a team needs surge support, including direct support to GSOC operations.

Product Development & Writing

  • Develop, write, and refine S3 products to an executive-ready standard, including intelligence products, briefs, assessments, SOPs, reporting, and leadership decks.
  • Own the quality bar and voice of the division's written output, ensuring it is clear, accurate, and tailored to its audience.
  • Build and maintain the templates, mechanisms, and reporting cadences that let S3 communicate its value consistently.

Second-in-Command & Continuity

  • Serve as the Deputy Director's designated stand-in, running the division's day-to-day and representing S3 in executive forums when the DD is unavailable.
  • Operate credibly at the director level in front of executives, understanding what to communicate and what to hold, and consistently driving the narrative of who S3 is and what we do.
  • Provide continuity of leadership and decision-making so the division never loses momentum to a single point of dependency.
  • Support budget planning, tracking, and reporting in partnership with the Deputy Director.

Cross-Functional Integration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work across Corporate Security, Executive Protection, Legal, HR, Government Affairs, and other partners to integrate S3 initiatives into broader enterprise efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings and program updates to senior leadership on behalf of the division.
  • Build trusted working relationships with the pillar leads and their teams, earning the influence to drive initiatives forward without direct authority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in security, intelligence, program/project management, or operations, including work in a corporate or government security environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives to completion through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with a proven track record of producing executive-ready intelligence products, briefs, and reporting.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to brief and operate credibly in front of senior leaders and to represent a function at the director level.
  • Sound judgment on messaging and discretion: knows what to say, what to hold, and how to drive a consistent narrative in executive and cross-functional settings.
  • Deep familiarity with corporate security operations and how they integrate.
  • Ability to move fluidly between hands-on, in-the-weeds execution and high-level strategic support.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, build-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience serving as a deputy, chief of staff, or second-in-command to a senior security or intelligence leader.
  • Background in national security, military, federal law enforcement, or high-stakes corporate security.
  • Experience standing up or maturing security programs from the ground up.
  • Program/project management certification (e.g., PMP) or security certification (e.g., CPP, PSP).
  • Experience in the defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
