Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Field Operations Engineer, you will support the deployments of Anduril’s leading edge Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), run demonstrations, exercises, and tests, sustain field hardware, feed operational lessons back to engineering, and ensure Anduril autonomous systems deliver mission outcomes in operational environments.

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades of AUVs in the field, operating the maintenance management system
  • Prepare for field deployments by identifying, sourcing and kitting AUV (Autonomous Undersea Vehicle) test and support equipment
  • Support Defence customer deployments, providing outstanding operating support. Understand their needs, gather feedback, and advocate for their requirements within Anduril, serving as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Support development, review and trials of Standard Operating Procedures and user documentation for all aspects of AUV operations
  • Support the development of comprehensive mission and test plans, considering route optimisation, environmental conditions, and risk mitigation to achieve desired outcomes.
