ABOUT THE TEAM
Division Operations at Anduril ensures smooth, efficient execution across the company’s various business lines, serving as the connective tissue that aligns strategy, resources, and processes. This trusted team coordinates cross functional efforts, driving operational excellence and supporting strategic execution. You’ll partner directly with division leadership to represent, enable, and advance the organization’s priorities.
This person will be supporting our Mission Command business line within Anduril. Mission Command is at the forefront of revolutionizing command and control (C2) systems for military and defense operations by empowering leaders at all levels through tools that enable rapid, informed decisions, even in complex and dynamic environments. We focus on end-to-end system integration—from data collection to actionable insights—to ensure commanders have the right information at the right time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a fundamental role in developing and driving the strategic projects that support our General Manager of the Mission Command department. Reporting directly to the Head of Division Operations, you’ll operate as a trusted owner and partner at the center of strategy, execution, and communications. In this individual contributor role, you’ll be relentless in thinking critically, analyzing and evaluating inputs, and pushing for clarity.
From Day 1, this person will have an immediate impact on our productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives to departments. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity and will be able to tackle a variety of projects to execution. Some key areas of ownership for this role include:
- Executive Partnership - understand, support and advance the General Manager’s priorities, including identifying opportunities to stand in as a credible representative
- Strategic Business Planning and Execution - drive planning and execution for strategic business initiatives. This will create awareness with the C-Suite and other key stakeholders on the progress. Finally, creating systems that operationalize the initiatives to create a sustainable process that reduces burden on leadership and the team.
- Talent Management - support the deliberate creation of the team need to deliver our business objectives through performance review cycles, hiring motions (including international hiring), and organizational designs
- Employee Engagement - manage rhythm of internal comms and events (e.g. all hands, onsites) and consolidate/action feedback from these events; execute the business line’s onboarding program and knowledge management processes as an extension of the division content and structure; ensure facilities and office space align with key program investments and requirements (e.g. lab and production space)
- Product Delivery Planning - ensure rolling production capacity meets the strategic needs and critical time horizons of the business line
- Go to Market - partner with Comms, Marketing & Design to drive successful announcements, new product launches, and trade shows to land product awareness and key themes that will advance the business
- Execution - you will own 0-1 initiatives that often times require you to build process and programs from the ground up
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of working experience in a consulting, program management, or business operations role
- Willing and able to work in Anduril’s Washington, DC office
- Willing to travel up to 25% of time
- Strong communication skills across a dynamic range of mediums, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate trust and facilitate meetings among peers and with executives. Capacity to translate and articulate thoughts clearly and simply across a wide range of roles (software engineers, finance partners, recruiters, cross functional leadership)
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems not only from a data driven lens, but also in a people-centric way by building strong cross functional relationships across the company and within the Connected Warfare division
- High ownership with the horsepower to effectively manage multiple (3-5+) large projects and priorities in parallel, at a rapid pace, and report out on progress regularly
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working at or with aerospace & defense companies, robotics, technology or other manufacturing heavy companies directly or in an advisory capacity
- Experience working at a start up, or ability to establish processes and SOPs from scratch
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
