ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) Finance team is seeking an FP&A Manager to help lead division-level planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.

In this role, you will own the consolidated AD&S view of performance and drive the operating rhythm – monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and executive readouts – so leadership has clear visibility to drivers, risks, and actions across the portfolio.

AD&S is scaling quickly across multiple product and program fronts, and leadership needs a single, consistent view of performance and outlook. This role exists to build and run the division’s FP&A operating cadence – consolidating inputs across business lines, translating results into decision-ready insights, and shaping the annual operating plan so resources stay aligned to the highest-impact priorities.

ABOUT THE JOB

This FP&A Manager will play a central role in establishing and scaling division-level reporting and planning for AD&S. Partnering closely with Business Line FP&A, Engineering, Program Management, and Corporate Finance, you will align assumptions, consolidate results, and package insights into a clear narrative for leadership.

Responsibilities include owning the AD&S consolidated forecast, leading monthly performance reporting, driving quarterly forecast cycles, and coordinating the annual operating plan (AOP) process end-to-end – templates, calendars, rollups, and leadership materials. Success requires strong analytical rigor, an ownership mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the consolidated AD&S forecast across all business lines (P&L, headcount, and key drivers).
  • Lead the monthly reporting cadence: actuals review, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and executive-ready narratives.
  • Drive quarterly forecasting cycles: align assumptions, coordinate inputs, consolidate outputs, and present insights to AD&S leadership and Corporate Finance.
  • Lead AOP development and shaping: build/maintain the plan model, coordinate business-line inputs, challenge assumptions, and package materials for reviews.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity models (program ramps, production rate changes, cost structure shifts, hiring plans) and translate outcomes into actionable trade-offs.
  • Partner with business-line FP&A to standardize definitions, templates, and timelines so AD&S runs on a single operating rhythm.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, speed, and decision usefulness of FP&A deliverables.
  • Provide structured, concise financial insights that drive accountability for spend and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain visibility into portfolio investment (including R&D/IRAD) as part of consolidated reporting and forecast commentary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, or consulting with strong forecasting, modeling, and analytical rigor.
  • Demonstrated ownership of monthly/quarterly reporting cadences and ability to communicate results to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and driver-based financial modeling; strong comfort working with large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex topics into clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and improve cross-team processes.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction, take ownership of ambiguous workstreams, and drive deliverables to completion
  • Experience with financial planning/reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite, Oracle, Foundry).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience consolidating financials and operating cadences across multiple teams, business units, or product lines.
  • Experience partnering with engineering-heavy product organizations and translating technical drivers into financial outcomes.
  • Familiarity with government contracting concepts (program lifecycle, cost structure/rates) or strong demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience building executive-level reporting packages and presenting to VP/GM/C-suite stakeholders.
