ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril’s Quality Engineering team is seeking Quality Engineers to join our team and contribute immediately to our growing product portfolio. The Quality Engineering team is an organization that champions quality experiences through the entire product life cycle while bringing the quality discipline & function to critical processes and procedures within the areas for production, engineering, and supplier management. These roles are targeted to start on a quarterly basis beginning in 2026. We hire self-motivated people, those who hold a higher bar for themselves than anyone else could hold for them. The right person for this role will work on critical projects that support our strategy and execution, helping Anduril grow and manage the complexities and ambiguities of a start-up. What you'll do:

  • Drive product improvement for any number of Anduril products by implementing processes for data collection and incident reporting that will inform activities like detailed design reviews, process development, verification, validation, and qualification of processes and parts, sub-assy, and the vehicle/system, itself
  • Conduct data analysis and data mining to identify trends and patterns in product quality.
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities for field and reliability issues. Review the effectiveness of actions and share lessons learned across the product team.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs & OKR metrics to track product quality and identify areas for improvement and drive improvement through a cross-functional team.
  • Own the elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle. Engage in quality activities from concept through development and manufacturing to field use.
  • Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities. Establish metrics for measuring quality and the factors that predict quality performance.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Define and improve required documentation and activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 months - 2 years of technical work to include technical internship and able to start full time in 2026.
  • Internships or school related experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing, quality, supply chain or design of electromechanical hardware
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve issues related electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment
  • Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills
  • Demonstrated hands-on fabrication or laboratory skills.
  • CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
  • Personal experience with inspection systems, data analysis, numeric methods, MatLab or other software packages.
  • A genuine interest in data analysis, process improvement, and thirst for learning
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience leading project and working with data collection, analysis, and driving improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with R/C and/or autonomous flight vehicles, flight controllers, or other related control systems
  • Software scripting experience in any language
  • Be naturally curious about the technologies and tools you use.
  • Low-ego, high ownership, and mission oriented.
US Salary Range
$77,000$102,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
