About the Role
At Anduril, we believe strong internal communication is the key to an engaged and connected workforce. We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to focus on manufacturing and production employees, making sure they have the information they need to stay informed, motivated, and aligned with our company’s mission. Whether it’s through newsletters, town halls, digital signage, or in-person updates, you’ll help shape the way our frontline teams receive and engage with company news.
As part of our Internal Communications team, you’ll work closely with leadership to develop and execute communication strategies tailored to both desk and non-desk employees, ensuring messages are clear, relevant, and delivered in the right way at the right time.
About You
You're an enthusiastic self-starter who loves storytelling and has a deep understanding of internal communications in manufacturing or industrial settings. You know how to cut through the noise and deliver clear, engaging messages that make an impact.
You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and are always thinking two steps ahead. You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects without missing a beat. Most importantly, you understand the unique challenges of communicating with a workforce that isn’t tied to a desk all day.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement communication strategies that engage and inform production, manufacturing, and supply chain employees.
- Create compelling content—newsletters, emails, posters, intranet updates, town hall messages—tailored for frontline teams.
- Manage internal communication channels, including Slack, email, video, Confluence (a plus, but not required), and physical bulletin boards.
- Support leadership messaging, helping craft operational updates, safety initiatives, and employee recognition programs.
- Maintain a calendar to ensure consistent, aligned internal messaging.
- Partner with HR, Operations, and Leadership to make sure employees get the right information at the right time in a way that makes sense for them.
- Measure impact—track communication effectiveness using employee feedback and engagement data to fine-tune strategies.
What You Bring
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—you can break down complex information into clear, engaging messages.
- Storytelling expertise—you know how to create people-focused narratives that resonate.
- Multi-channel experience—you’re comfortable working across print, digital, video, and live formats to reach employees wherever they are.
- Project management skills—you can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Manufacturing experience—a strong understanding of production environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Confluence or other internal collaboration tools is a plus but not a dealbreaker.
- Analytics-driven mindset—you know how to measure engagement and refine communication strategies based on what’s working.
- Relationship-building skills—you’re comfortable working with everyone from frontline employees to senior leaders.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach—you take initiative, think critically, and act with urgency when needed.
What You Need
- 4-6 years of experience in internal communications, ideally within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with email platforms, Slack, digital signage, and intranets.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with a wide variety of internal partners.
