The Anduril Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. We are looking for an Digital Integrated Circuit Designer to join our team.


    • Design digital readout integrated circuits for imaging sensors, from concept to functional prototype, bring-up, and system level integration
    • Design custom ASIC blocks for RTL synthesis
    • Simulate and model digital IC designs
    • Synthesize RTL using digital IC design tools
    • Work with FPGA hardware to interface and control digital readout ICs
    • Troubleshoot issues with solid skills using custom FPGA hardware, lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools
    • Work closely with hardware and software engineers for component selection, troubleshooting, and product support
    • Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
    • Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware
    • Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
    • 4+ years of experience HDL synthesis for integrated circuits
    • Experience with testing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and products
    • Familiarity with infrared image sensor technology
    • Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests
    • Familiarity with product development processes and tools
    • Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral)
    • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance


    • Demonstrated experience designing with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory busses, Ethernet MAC and PHY interfaces, FPGAs, and common communication busses like SPI and I2C
    • Experience with deep submicron processes smaller than 45 nm CMOS
    • Experience with RTL synthesis with Cadence, Siemens, or Synopsys
    • Knowledge of embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and basic Unix/Linux tools
    • Familiar with common programming languages like Python or MATLAB for test automation
US Salary Range
$142,000$213,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
