Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

  • Strategize with Group 5 Aircraft Engineering Tools Lead on toolset roadmap, deployment on projects, and help manage the overall MDAO toolset development effort

  • BS or higher degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, and/or Computer Science
  • 4+ years of experience in one of more disciplines in conceptual aircraft design and analysis such as Configuration Design, Mass Properties, Propulsion, Aerodynamics, Vehicle Performance, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), and / or GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Controls)
  • Strong ability and desire to work on tool development and process workflows
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

  • Experience in developing and MDAO workflows and toolsets in ModelCenter, ModeFRONTIER, or related software environment
  • Experience with aircraft sizing and configuration trade studies, including aerodynamic design, shaping, performance analysis, and MDAO
  • Experience managing a project in a cross-IPT environment and interfacing with teams such as Air Vehicle, Cost, Survivability, Mission Systems, Operations Analysis, Airframe Structures, and Subsystems
